Role of school chaplain
- Provide unconditional social, emotional and spiritual support to the students, staff & families
- Organise breakfast club with the school Youth Workers
- Assist in classrooms & lunchtime programs
- Making sure students are referred to the right help that they need.
Chaplain Mel Sell is available Thursday and every second Wednesday.

Breakfast club
Yeppoon State High School offers Breakfast Club every morning from 8:15am at the ISC for all students. Toast and fruit are available and students have the opportunity to sign on to help with service to their peers. It is a positive space where students can check in with support staff before their day starts while also engaging with and meeting new peers. Brekkie Club is made possible thanks to funding from the Queensland Governments’ School Food Program and YMCA Schools’ Breakfast Program.
