Event details
- Date: Friday 13 November 2026
- Time: 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm (students must be collected by a parent or guardian)
- Location: Keppel Bay Sailing Club
- Dress code: cocktail attire
- Cost: approximately $55
- Transportation: students are to make their own transport arrangement (this is not a red-carpet event – no limos).
Student eligibility
The Semi Formal is an extra-curricular school event. To be eligible to attend, students must meet the following expectations:
- 85% or higher attendance for Semester 2.
- All absences explained.
- Satisfactory behaviour and effort.
- All outstanding school fees paid, or an approved payment plan in place.
2026 Senior graduation
Wednesday 18th November at 6pm
The official ceremony at the ISC (YSHS) will commence at 6pm and is approximately a 1.5 hour event.

Expectations and eligibility
To be eligible to attends the Senior Formal, the following expectations apply:
- Students are obliged to comply with all the Yeppoon State High School policies. This includes the Student Code of Conduct (PDF, 2.3MB), uniform dress code and senior privileges eligibility and course and assessment completion.
- Students must have NO outstanding assessment items, library loans, fees or other monies owing to the school.
- Students are expected to demonstrate our STARS expectations.
