All students are required to complete assessment and
exams on the scheduled dates. If you are unable to attend a scheduled
exam or submit an assessment item on the due date, you need to communicate with
the school immediately with a valid reason to ensure that you may still have
the assessment counted towards your semester’s result. Valid
reasons are outlined in the Special Provision Policy.

Students are not eligible for AARA on the following grounds:
Unfamiliarity with the English language
Teacher absence or other teacher-related difficulties
Matters that the student could have avoided (e.g. misreading an examination timetable, misreading instructions in examinations)
Matters of the student's or parent's/carer's own choosing (e.g. family holidays)
Matters that the school could have avoided (e.g. incorrect enrolment in a subject)
To avoid the school being unable to approve extensions of assessment or reschedule examination times due to matters of the student's or parent's/carer's own choosing (e.g. family holidays), we encourage students to be at school for the duration of each term.
