Keppel Education Pathways PDF Print E-mail

Keppel Education Pathways provides academic, vocational and personal Development programs for students who are not attending mainstream education.

At present there is no cap on the number of students who can be enrolled at KEP however enrolments usually sit around the low twenties. The majority of students are referred to KEP through Yeppoon State High School. Students choose to enrol at KEP for a variety of reasons and ages range from 14-21.There are two paid staff members at KEP, a teacher/coordinator and a teacher’s aide. Both of these staff members are Education Queensland employees and are appointed through the Yeppoon State High School. The Youth Development Officer at the Livingstone Shire Council provides ongoing support to the coordinator, in the planning and development of KEP programs.

This facility is also helped by:

KEP operates from a newly renovated facility at the back of the Livingstone Shire Council Community Development Office. The building consists of three linked rooms; an office, computer/learning room and a recreational room.
