Yeppoon State High School’s Care Program is an integrated whole-school approach to the development of social awareness and competence.

We aim to build resilience in students and highlight the importance of emotional intelligence. The multi-year level Care Group structure and Mates (Yr 12 and Yr 8s) program aid in the promotion of connectedness and a sense of belonging within the school community.

A recent addition is the Rock and Water program which is an alternative program that has a focus on developing self-control and self-confidence in students via a physical means.
